Born in Manila and raised in the U.S. and Saudi Arabia, Sasha Pimentel is a Filipina poet and author of For Want of Water (Beacon Press, ), selected by Pulitzer Prize-winning judge Gregory Pardlo as winner of the National Poetry Series.
